A few years ago I was searching for old Micky Ward videotape on Youtube. High On Crack St. popped up in the results and I had no clue what it was until I read some of the description. I favorited it in hopes of watching it down the road, but the youtube user promptly took it down before I got a chance. No one uploaded it until recently, so here it is in six parts. It’s the actual HBO special that inspired part of Christian Bale’s role in The Fighter. It follows a handful of crack fiends from Lowell, MA, one of them being Micky Ward’s brother/trainer Dicky Eklund portrayed by Christian Bale in the Oscar nominated The Fighter. Enjoy.
