Tim Sylvia sat down to discuss his July 19th matchup with Fedor Emelianenko and his strategy going into the fight. The bout is taking place in Dallas, Texas under HDNet Fights, Mark Cuban’s company. It is also being promoted by Affliction. Based on Fedor’s past opposition alone I’m picking him for an easy win. Tim Sylvia might be able to keep the Russian off him with his jab for a bit, but if Randy Couture was able get to him to the ground and control him, I’m pretty sure Fedor will have no problems doing the same. Tim’s takedown defense better be tight as hell come July.
Tim doesnt seem scared, maybe he hasnt seen Fedor take out a bear.

I’m glad Darth Fedor is finally getting a chance to eat Sylvia’s soul. I hate Tim Sylvia fights they are so damn boring. Jab jab jab cross sprawl. Repeat for 15-25 minutes. Sylvia’s balls are gonna shrink up in his stomach in the first round and then I predict death.
I really want to see Fedor fight Arlovski though. That shit would be killer. I think it would actually last more than a round.
