I think Kimbo is doing great in MMA, and one of the most exciting fighters to watch. Can anyone say who is more exciting to watch at the moment? When they stop his fights; it’s to stop him inflicting more damage on his opponent, which is v. fair, and the reason why they stopped the one with Thompson. Kimbo has earned his credentials outside the ring, so why all the Haters? He’s come up from the streets and done it the hard way, with his bare knuckles; you can’t begrudge him that.

I would agree that Kimbo has surprised many and adapted well to MMA. Many people forget that he is just a baby in the world of mixed martial arts. Whereas he spent a lot of time knocking out bums in the streets of Miami, he has now stepped into the cage with a few professional fighters and has made fairly quick work of them, confirming that he is meant to be here. Even if he isn’t close to being among the best out there, he’s holding his own and taking on all challenges. Gotta give him props for that.
In regards to being one of the most exciting fighters to watch, I disagree personally. He is still very one dimensional. I’d rather watch guys like GSP, Anderson Silva, Nick Diaz, Rampage, etc. As for brawlers, I think the Houston Alexander and Wanderlei Silva take the cake.
